About Event
Why do some stories get told, while others are never heard? Join Carol-Ann Hoyte and award-winning Canadian children's author L. E. Carmichael for a discussion of The Matilda Effect: How 25 Women Were Erased from History. You’ll hear the stories behind the stories in this all-new biography collection for kids! Kirkus called The Matilda Effect “nuanced, frank, and furious,” and this conversation will be, too. Attendees will receive personalized, autographed bookplates and a chance to ask their own questions.
